DC Kids admits outstanding students regardless of their families' ability to pay the cost of tuition. Through our need-blind admission process, we encourage all qualified applicants to consider DC Kids, regardless of whether they can afford the full cost of attendance. Upon admission, applicants can be confident that their financial need will be met.
This process allows us to attract a large and diverse pool of gifted applicants. Given the strong representation of all socioeconomic groups within that pool, no prescribed ceiling is set on family income when offering scholarships. By applying for a need-based scholarship, student tuition will be set to what you can afford. Nothing more, and nothing less.
HOW SCHOLARSHIPS WORK
Step 1. Apply for a Needs-Based Scholarship Apply for a need-based scholarship during the application process. If awarded, the student will receive a full scholarship from Wisdom Tree Foundation. A short "thank you" video is shared with donors and sponsors of the Foundation. Step 2. Thank You Campaign A parent/caring adult will gain access to the student's account. To support future need-based scholarships, a parent/caring adult will invite potential sponsors to make a tax-deductible gift of any amount to the foundation.
The enrollment fee is $35.00 for need-based scholarship applicants.
